Woodland Resort is proud to call ourselves the “Home of the Perch Patrol Guide Service”  This famous team of ice fisherman has called Woodland their home for 14 years now, dating back to 1995.   Perhaps you have heard of these guys, or have seen them on national fishing shows such as In-Fisherman, Midwest Outdoors, Tony Dean Outdoors and recently ESPN’s The Backroad’s Show.

Led by Steve “Zippy” Dahl, the Perch Patrol Guide Service consists of 6 full time guides.  These guys not only posses the fishing knowledge on Devils Lake but ride the cutting edge of what is going on the ice fishing industry.   The key to their success is simply the number of hours spent fishing on Devils Lake combined with their “team-work” approach to finding active schools of fish.

Whether it’s the Devils Lake famous Jumbo Perch, Walleyes

or Northern Pike, the Perch Patrol will do what it takes to put your group on the “Hottest” action.   All of their packages are  fully guided and all equipment including heated, portable fish houses, Vexilar FL – 18’s & FL-20's, Jason Mitchell Elite Series Rod and Reel Combos, and on ice transportation with whatever it takes to get around. Perch Patrol Guide Service begins its operation on December 10th and guides through March 30^th.  You will not find a busier guide service more in demand than the Perch Patrol.  HINT:  Make your reservations early because their schedule fills fast.

Deposit Policy: A 50% deposit will be required when making a reservation. We must have a credit card number, and if you are a no show, the card will be charged for 1/2 of the cost of the package chosen times the number of people the reservations are made for under that card. A 30 day cancellation is required. Should you cancel, with a 30 day notice, you will be refunded 100% of your deposit.
