Woodland
Resort Ice Fishing Guides

The
Perch Patrol Guide Service is a collection of the area's preeminent
and most professional fishing guides. Their staff is by far
the most experience guide staff on Devils Lake. Some of the
Perch Patrol's founding fathers were the first to guide ice fisherman
and were the pioneers that started the guide industry on Devils
Lake. Combine this with the other half of our staff whom not
only guide ice fisherman but summer anglers as well. This
is gives a huge advantage, nobody can possibly come close to the
number of hours spent on the water year-round than they do.
That is why their GPSs look like a New York Skyline at night!
So many spots that are just waiting for your bait to hit bottom.
The
Perch Patrol Guide Service is entering its eleventh year of operation
and is still by far Devils Lake, North Dakota's largest, busiest,
most respected, and longest running winter guide service.
The Perch Patrol is a staff of 8 guides that use a “Team-work” approach
to find and stay on fish. This is extremely important as Devils
Lake now approaches 140,000 acres, it is more important than ever
for the team to stay in constant communication with each other,
sharing information on all species of fish that Devils Lake has
to offer.
Beyond
guiding ice fisherman, this famous group of guides is very active
in the ice fishing industry. They provide product consultation
and field testing for their sponsors as well as sharing of their
knowledge with not only clientele but influential media that can
reach out to all ice-fishermen through outdoor television to help
promote and further the growth of the sport of ice-fishing.
Every
guide on the Perch Patrol Staff is honored to be recognized as one
of the finest ice fisherman in the industry. Each guide
prides himself on giving 100 percent effort everyday. All
guides are drug free and do not consume alcohol while guiding. They
appreciate and recognize some of the great distances our customers
travel to get here and that is why they take your vacation so very
seriously.
From run and gun perch fishing
to stalking walleyes on secret hideaways to chasing bruiser northern
pike on the flats, the Perch Patrol Guide Service knows how to find
and hook fish and entertain clients. Nobody hunts and looks
for fish harder than the Perch Patrol. The number of happy
customers that they have served over the years goes well into the
10 thousands. So what are you waiting for? Come and
